Snapper, Stainless Steel Wall Sculpture

Snapper, a common and well loved fish found in Australian Oceans, and emblematic of the South West!
This artwork depicts the wonderful Snapper, cut from marine grade Stainless Steel. The fish is brought forward to create depth, and welded onto a stainless steel backing. The scales and line-work are hand drawn using an angle grinder, with spots added using a TIG Welder. We then heat treat the fish, which gives it a brilliant hue of blue, purple, pink and copper.
The dimensions of this piece are 70cm Long x 40cm High and 5cm Depth.
This piece features a stainless steel bar on the back for easy hanging. Simply slot over screws or hooks.
This artwork is made from high quality stainless steel, and is safe to go outside. It has also been coated with a clear metal varnish, to protect it from any weather damage and add to its durability.
Everything we make at Old Coast Studio is made my us, we do not mass produce, nor do we want to! Due to the hand made nature of this piece, each artwork may vary slightly from photographs in colour tone. This is simply the nature of working by hand.
